
Fav4 is a simple designed and easy to use service to bring your 4 most frequently used favorites on the start page of your browser.
Once you set fav4.org as your start page you can easily customize your favorites by clicking on the gear wheel icon in the bottom right corner. All settings are saved in the cookies. So far Fav4 supports 76 services, like Gmail, AOL, Youtube, Vimeo, Facebook, NyTimes, Dropbox or Linkedin and there constantly more coming. Additionally you can also include a Google, Bing, Yahoo, Wikipedia or IMDB search bar.

This Weekend Facebook announced a new Facebook Felloship Program for 2010-2011. The program supports full-time Ph.D. students working on topical areas like Internet Economics, Cloud Computing, Social Computing, Data Mining and Machine Learning, Systems or Information Retrieval. Students must be enrolled in e.g. Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, System Architecture and recommended by a faculty member. Deadline is Friday February 15, 2010.
